In honor of the Memorial Day holiday, we will not be posting a new article this afternoon. We hope everyone enjoys the extended weekend!
In the meantime, we would like to issue a call for articles. We would be happy to discuss contributions on topics already covered on Psychotherapy Brown Bag, but would be particularly interested in discussing potential articles on topics not yet discussed on the site. These include but are in no way limited to schizophrenia, autism spectrum disorders, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), purging disorder, and the treatment of childhood mental illness. If you are interested in writing on a topic already covered on PBB, we ask only that your topic cover a unique angle of the topic.
Articles can vary in size from as short as a few paragraphs to as long as several pages on a standard Microsoft Word document. All articles must be based upon and heavily cite empirical research, as the primary goal of Psychotherapy Brown Bag is to publicize recent research and information on empirically supported treatments for mental illness to as broad an audience as possible.
Additionally, if you are a practicing therapist who utilizes empirically supported treatments for mental illness and would like to be listed on our registry of EST clinics, please contact us to discuss adding you to the site.
If you have any questions or are interested in contributing an article, please contact Mike and/or Joye at:
