Do you have information available on why some jurisdictions, California as an example, developed laws that restricted their residence to only receive therapy services from that state's licensed practitioners? Was it from an era when there was little reason to have considered distant service options (i.e. technology assisted services)? What is best for the client (i.e. continuity of services) if they moved to a restricted state?

Thanks for tackling this subject.
