			<content type="html" xml:base="http://www.psychotherapybrownbag.com/psychotherapy_brown_bag_a/2009/07/a-new-rct-comparing-cbt-and-a-shortterm-psychodynamic-therapy-for-generalized-anxiety-disorder.html">&lt;p&gt;You should also bring up Milrods panic-focused psychodynamic psychotherapy (PFPP) it has been shown to be more effective than applied relaxation, a small RCT in germany has also compared it to CBT where the results were equally effective at a  6 month follow up (at the end of therapy CBT was sligthly better). A large clinical trial is carried out in the US comparing PFPP, CBT and ART. Soon to be &amp;quot;empirically supported&amp;quot;.&lt;/p&gt;</content>
