Marsha Linehan on New York Times website

Today, Marsha Linehan of the University of Washington, who is the world's preeminent scholar on borderline personality disorder (BPD) and the creator of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), the frontline treatment for this disorder, is answering questions about BPD on the New York Times website.  Follow this link to participate in this conversation.

In the eyes of Psychotherapy Brown Bag, this is precisely the type of thing researchers need to be doing regularly, so we are greatly appreciative of Dr.Linehan's efforts.

What's in a name

  • Traditionally, brown bag seminars are informal lunchtime meetings held by researchers to update their colleagues on recent research findings. Psychotherapy Brown Bag attempts to serve a similar function, posting new information around lunchtime and hoping to foster intellectual conversations about research topics in an informal setting. The brown bag lunch is optional!
