Psychotherapy Brown Bag - Article topics

Nearly four months have passed since we launched Psychotherapy Brown Bag.  With five new articles published each week, we have now amassed a substantial library of posts on various topics relevant to clinical psychology.  As time goes on, this library will continue to grow.  We are pleased with this progress, but want to ensure that readers are readily able to find the articles most relevant to the topics that interest them.

In an effort to facilitate readers' efforts to find the most pertinent articles, we have organized the entire library by topics.  Some articles are listed under multiple topics while others are listed under only one.  In the second column, right next to the text of the daily articles, you will see a list of categories (e.g., depression, DBT, substance abuse) directly beneath the box through which you can subscribe to an email feed of Psychotherapy Brown Bag articles.

By clicking on one of categories, you will open up a page that features every article ever written on Psychotherapy Brown Bag that was listed under that particular topic.  For some topics, there currently may be only one article.  For others, you will have several pages of articles to navigate in your search for the right one.

If the topic you are seeking is not listed on this page, let us know.  We will gladly make an effort to cover topics that have not yet been mentioned on the site.  Additionally, if you see the category you are looking for, but can not find an article that covers the particular aspect of that category that interests you, let us know and we will make a similar effort to fill that void.

Ultimately, we hope to provide readers with articles that meet their needs, so please leave your comments here and/or email us to let us know what we can do to achieve this goal.

What's in a name

  • Traditionally, brown bag seminars are informal lunchtime meetings held by researchers to update their colleagues on recent research findings. Psychotherapy Brown Bag attempts to serve a similar function, posting new information around lunchtime and hoping to foster intellectual conversations about research topics in an informal setting. The brown bag lunch is optional!
