Craig does everyone a service by discussing the idea of the acquired capability for suicide in a media outlet with a broad reach. The more ideas like that are disseminated to a wide audience, the sooner the world will come to accurately understand the phenomenon of suicide. Education on a large scale requires that researchers connect with the public through mass media. Any time a researcher pulls it off like this, it makes me remarkably happy.
